Terms of Service
Effective June 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Covenant Systems AI website. Covenant Systems AI LLC ("Covenant Systems," "we," "us," or "our") is a North Carolina limited liability company operating the fractional CTO and AI solution architecture practice of J. DeVere Cooley. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
This site is informational
The content here describes our practice and our point of view. It is provided for general information only. It is not legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice, and using this site does not create a client relationship.
Engagements are separate
Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written engagement agreement that defines scope, fees, timelines, confidentiality, security, and ownership of what we build. Those terms, not this website, control our working relationship. Where a website statement and an engagement agreement differ, the engagement agreement wins.
Intellectual property
- The design, text, and branding of this site belong to Covenant Systems AI.
- Ownership of work product, deliverables, and any reusable components built during an engagement is set in that engagement's agreement. As a default principle, you own your instance and your data, and we retain the underlying reusable methods and platform unless agreed otherwise in writing.
No warranty
This site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be error free, secure, or always available.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covenant Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Liability arising from an engagement is addressed in that engagement's agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
